Water: a better way to drinking 8 glasses

Water: we know it is vital to life and essential to help up regenerate. And we are all told that proper hydration means that we must drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Sure, I want to be properly hydrated but really, 8 glasses every day?
As much as I try I could barely get to 6 glasses of water a day.
Cucumber Basil Water
Directions:
Place ¼ cup of cucumber and basil (equal parts of the listed ingredients to equal ¼ cup) into an 8-ounce sanitized Mason jar, seal, and place into the fridge or in the sun for 2-4 hours, or overnight.
And then I read about how to make nutrient-packed and water-infused drinks! Wow, with ingredients like cayenne (revs up your metabolism and cucumbers (helps you keep calm) --- water has become my new favorite superfood.
Cayenne and Lemon Water Ingredients:
1 cup cold water
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Directions:
Add cayenne and lemon juice to water, then drink.
